Pyxis is a fractional operations and finance practice in Provo, Utah, led by Daniel Quarnberg.
Pyxis is the constellation of the mariner's compass, first described by Lacaille in 1752 as la Boussole. The owner sets the course. We keep the business on it, and say so early when it starts to drift.

Dan is an operator and attorney based in Provo. Through Pyxis he runs finance and operations for a group of owner-led companies: multi-location healthcare practices, a preschool, a consumer estate-planning company and a communications company. That means the monthly closes, cash planning, payroll funding, reporting, marketing analytics and the systems that tie them together.
He also teaches in the LawX Incubator at BYU Law, where students build products for real-world problems.
Dan's law practice is separate. Pyxis doesn't provide legal services; legal work is handled by Blueprint Legal.
